History
The Mill Hill House was built as a residence in 1890. It was most recently purchased by
Clarke Herdic and Janet McFetridge in 1999 and underwent significant restructuring and
restoration. Clarke and Janet's restoration philosophy has preserved the original house's
charm and character, incorporated Lake Placid's Olympic and pre-Olympic history, and,
has associated the magnificence of the Adirondack Mountains and lakes.
